Worstead village

Welcome to the website of Worstead Parish Council

Worstead is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It lies 3 miles south of North Walsham, 5 miles north of Wroxham, and 13 miles north of Norwich. The village is served by Worstead railway station on the Bittern Line.

The Parish Council is made up of members who all live in the village and represent the village on various matters.  We are effectively the third tier of local government, the other two being Norfolk County Council and North Norfolk District Council.

The Parish Council is responsible for:

      • the recreation ground
      • the play area
      • commenting on planning applications
      • the village notice boards
      • general maintenance around the village
