The Annual Parish Meeting is not a council meeting. It is a meeting of the parish electorate. It is usual for the meeting to be chaired by the Chair of the Parish Council and for the Parish Clerk to attend and record the minutes.

The Parish Council and local organisations report back on their activities during the year and any items of general interest can be discussed.

Electors are urged to come along, find out more and put their points of view forward.

The Council usually invite representatives of the following groups, to provide reports to inform its audience on community matters:

District and County Councillor, St. Mary’s Church, Worstead Primary School, Friends of Worstead Primary School, Worstead Pre-school, QE Village Hall Committee, Worstead Festival, Worstead Weavers and Norfolk Constabulary Beat Manager.

This meeting must, by law, be held on a date between the 1st March and 1st June (inclusive)
